In 2022 we supported our grassroots partner Lok Panchyat in Sangamner, Maharashtra to set up low cost sanitary pad  manufacturing facility. We trained girls how to make the sanitary pads and promoted the product through local Self Help Groups. We handed the project to the local community, who has been running this project successfully since then selling the pads at a nominal price. The domestic violence survivors living in shelter homes in the area are given the pads for free.
